When you place your order with Traeger Brothers, you’re ordering with confidence knowing we provide a fast, easy process backed by professionals who get the job done right. Founded by Joe Traeger, a young entrepreneur who boarded an empty banana boat on its homeward run toward Cuba from Miami. The boat’s engine failed, and Joe spent six days adrift with the crew discussing the industrial climate in Cuba and discovering what seemed to be an untapped demand there for US products. Upon return to Miami, Joe started the Cuban American Export Company, which sold household goods, agricultural parts, and sugar equipment to Cuba on returning banana freighters.
